About Didier

Didier Kamanzi is a Rwandan actor born in Burundi. He is the third child of a family of six. He moved back to Rwanda after the Genocide in 1994 where he attended high school. Along the way, he started doing odd jobs in order to help his family. One night as he was a bouncer for a local night club, he got an offer to audition for a film that was about to shoot, and he got it. Since then, he has been one of the most prominent actor in the whole east Africa region.

He is best known for the films RWASA, RWASIBO and CATHERINE. He won the best Rwandan actor during the 2015 Rwandan movie awards.
